- 24 looks to reset next year

- Wedding cakes bringing new meaning to “Aw, sugar…”

- Premiere Magazine Online looks at the 100 best lines in movie history. If you don’t have the patience to go through all 100, I’ll let you know what #1 is: “”Here’s looking at you, kid.” from Casablanca

5 Days Till “Spiderman The Third” - Part 1

Monday, April 30th, 2007

- Happy Spiderman Week everyone… go grab your masks at Toys R Us today!

- Randy Moss wins the lottery: This is your chance Randy to get yourself into the Hall of Fame… or become a giant dud.  Don’t screw this one up. You and Brady can play beautiful music together if you just try.

- You can’t blame Torre for losing most of his bullpen by week 2 (injuries happen, people).  But apparently, you can blame him for the rest of the Yank’s woes.

- Madonna finally gets an old lady haircut… and looks horrible in it

1.5 Hours Till Wine

- Didn’t catch the Democratic debates last night. They are usually the same stuff over and over again. That said, Radar Magazine directed me to this rant from Senator Mike Gravel, and I gotta tell you – I like this guy. I wished I had watched, just to hear more from him.

- Apparently Dora is blame for Mr. Baldwin’s rants.

- Idol giveth, and Idol take away: Since when is Earth, Wind and Fire AND Il Divo bigger than Pink and Gwen?

- As a Jew, I love Sandy Koufax. After all, any sports conversation that incorporates some form on Judiasm in it (“I can’t believe the game is the same day as Yom Kippur!”) somehow incorporates Koufax. He is the Jewish gold standard (pun… INTENDED) (Thanks Gregg for the link)

8.5 Hours Till Wine

Friday, April 27th, 2007

- I think McDonald’s is ageing up their “Happy Meals” too much. They’re obviously trying to compete with Friendly’s “Happy Endings”

- The latest internet craze: Dancing Bush

- Sarah Silverman follows in Jessica Alba’s giant footsteps

- I absolutely LOVE these new DirecTV ads.  William Shatner was great and Charlie Sheen was amazing, cause he is definitely not that thin anymore.  But Pam Anderson – Yeah, that’ll make me sign up!

Thurs Means That The Weekend is Coming - Part 2

Thursday, April 26th, 2007

- A little something for my Lost fans out there: Lostpedia, where all the Lost information comes to life via user generated information, including this tidbit: Apparently in last nights episode the parachutist did not say “Thank you” as Mikhail claims. Instead, it sounds like “Eu não estou só” which is Portuguese for “I am not alone.” BOOM….

- Wow, an 8-Way debate. That sounds… um… stupid.

- So apparently Captain America is not dead, he’s just horny and hungry.

- I always miss out on the fun stuff.  For example, I didn’t get to take a ride on the short-lived “Smut Bus

Thurs Means That The Weekend is Coming - Part 1

Thursday, April 26th, 2007

- Tribeca Film Festival kicked off yesterday; Family Day Festival hits Tribeca next Saturday… on Cinco De Mayo (gee, THAT’S a good idea)

- Look, Alex, buddy, pal… I know its been a bad week - what with all that “you’re a pig” stuff – but let’s not go to extremes.  Sure you’ve been in over 70 things, popping up in great movies like Glengarry Glen Ross and The Departed, while wasting time doing such gems as Pearl Harbor. But 30 Rock took you to the next level.  The Movie Star the stooped to the TV level and proved how much better they could be. Bette Midler couldn’t do this.  Neither could Ray Liotta.  Don’t quit while you still have some positives going for you, Alec. (This plea has been made on behalf of my beautiful girlfriend Stephanie)

- Dear Mr. Gere… An Indian police offer wants to talk to you…

- Robot Chicken may be one of the smartest dumb shows on all of TV. Between this and his amazing guest appearance on Entourage - Long live Seth Green!

Extend That Losing Streak, Yanks! - Part 2

Wednesday, April 25th, 2007

- Who gives a crap about a Rage Against the Machine reunion when you hear the AMAZING news that Spinal Tap is getting back together

- So long Rosie. It’s been fun. But has it really only been a year? It seems like SOOO much longer…

- Just what we need – more construction in NYC.  Thanks Port Authority.

- The ultimate challenge to Scott and Navid: Could you really keep a Poker face playing against these? (Somewhat NOT WORK APPROPRIATE)

Extend That Losing Streak, Yanks! - Part 1

Wednesday, April 25th, 2007

- Roger Ebert has seen better days, no doubt.  But you have to respect a man, who has been wrecked by cancer, but can still keep his head up high and keep living his life.

- In the last year, Cracked magazine has completely reinvented itself in my eyes. First there was the Will Ferrell highlights, now comes a list of the Top 11 Guy Movies… and why they suck.  I think Cracked may be getting bookmarked soon…

- See ya, you Beatle-hating, Yoko Ono wannabe

- New Harry Potter trailer is up online. ENJOY!
