Late Jump – Part 1

- While I assumed he had been dead for a while, I was very sad to hear about the passing of Mr. Wizard yesterday. In honor of him, here’s a look back at “Mr. Wizard’s Worlds” intro

- Four to go: So I guess the legacy LeBron started to build in the semi’s will either die AGAIN for another year or become more powerful than ever….

 - You tell them Dan! Actually, can I take a second here and ask the obvious question: Why didn’t CBS stick with Bob Schieffer? His ratings were growing and Nightly News watchers (read: old people) loved him. I understand Couric was going to redefine the Nightly News program for our generation, but NEWSFLASH: We have CNN. MSNBC. The Internet. We don’t have to wait until 6:30 (WHEN WE’RE NOT EVEN HOME YET) to see a recap of the days news. We have already lived it.

- Ah, James Franco. How I will miss thee in the Spider-Man movies. Your anger just feels… real

Cojones – Part 2

Tuesday, June 12th, 2007

- To say that “Dwight is to The Office what Frasier once was to Cheers” is so ridiculous I can barley take it.  Dwight is a MAJOR character while Frasier was a minor bar character – I mean, Norm and Cliff were MUCH bigger than Frasier. The idea of pulling this character from a hit show is so ridiculous that anyone even THINKING about it should be fired immediately.

- Why shouldn’t an actor/senator announce his intentions to run for office on Leno? Hey, it worked for Arnie…

- Wow, didn’t see this coming: A Bob Barker scandal is brewing…

- The Kansas City Chiefs appearing in a show called “Hard Knocks” seems almost poetic.

- Can we get Bond’s back on the juice so we can get this home run chase over with? Geez, this is taking forever

- Anyone want to play “Beat the Streak”? I in if someone has the cojones to play me.

- Number 1 reason I am in love with Jessica Cutler? This line: “What’s the point of being a congressman if you can’t have affairs?”

- Someone PLEASE explain to me how THIS body gave birth to two kids?!

- In the vein of the classic “Hot or Not” comes the all new “Turkey or Not” personal film critic site
