Holiday’s Are Coming - Part 1

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

- A sneak peak at Best Buy’s “Black Friday” deals courtesy of Mr. Moore

- If Conan comes back early from the strike, it might in his soon-to-be 11:30 slot…

- Choirs should sing more modern tunes in my opinion (XOXO)

- An early Merry Xmas courtesy of Jason

Slaptastic! - Part 2

Monday, November 19th, 2007

- More on “Slap Bet”: Catch up with the FULL episode on MySpace (PS – I would make an awesome Slap Bet Commissioner!)

- Celebrity Apprentice cast announced and boy are there some big quotes around the word celebrities- Omarosa, “Big Pussy,” Stephen Baldwin, Gene Simmons, Marilu Henner, Carol Alt, Trace Adkins, Nadia Comaneci, Tiffany Fallon, Jennie Finch, Lennox Lewis, Piers Morgan and Tito Ortiz.

- The first few seasons of Sesame Street have come out warning viewers that, “early ‘Sesame Street’ episodes are intended for grown-ups, and may not suit the needs of today’s preschool child.”  The crazy thing is that reading the Times review I was shocked to find that the sarcastic response to this message seems all too legit.

- The writers continue to take their creativity to the net.  I’m still waiting for Parker’s…

Slaptastic! - Part 1

Monday, November 19th, 2007

- No sure if I have any fellow How I Met Your Mother fans out there (except you B), but if so, just a few more hours till the “slap bet” payoff.

- SNL takes over the UCB. Pissed I missed it, but determined to make the 30 Rock showing tonight…

- In other SNL news, they just laid off 50 people. SNL usually lays off most of their staff in the summer, only to rehire them in the winter.  It allows the company only to pay them when they need them.  A lot of employees do this, saving their winter money for the summer.  It just sucks that the “winter money” is now gone.

- Hey Scott: THIS is our competition? Dude can’t get one word out before screwing up

Ugh - Part 2

Friday, November 16th, 2007

- Since Brock sent it to me, I’ll let him set it up: “This is fucking hilarious. Who knew Aubrey Huff was so cool? and so stupid. Guess there’s not much to do in the off-season after all. Oh, and yeah, definitely not work appropriate.”

- Don’t deny it. You know you want to see the photos from the first Spice girl reunion at the Victoria Secret fashion show

- Thank you, Mr. Cantor, for allowing me to enjoy my delicious dinner last night for free.

- Colbert’s staff gets back to being funny

Ugh - Part 1

Friday, November 16th, 2007

- Ugh: Tom Cruise to play Hugh Hefner? Wood Harrleson as Larry Flynt worked much better to me.

- And you said ordering a pizza couldn’t get easier!

- Enjoy this naked picture of Hayden Panettiere (NWA) and then be disappointed to find out it’s a fake.

- If you saw Beowulf last night (and you know who you are), then you probably caught this new trailer for Cloverfield.  Hopefully your movie theatre had better audio

Are You F’Ing Kidding Me? - Part 2

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

- Well, this certainly won’t help Barry find a team to sign him next year…

- Forget the fact that they make these (the 25 stupidest toys in the world), but who buys them?!

- Will ESPN save FNL and ALSO end this BS story line about the kids killing a guy???

- The Daily Show writers take their case to the web.  Actually pretty funny.

Are You F’Ing Kidding Me? - Part 1

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

- Michael Jordan to pay wife $168 million in divorce settlement:  Oh, MY BAD, I thought it was Jordan who was on the court scoring all those points and working in those Gatorade, Nike, Hanes, etc ads… MY BAD. (F’ing ridiculous)

- I think Jimmy Kimmel is missing his show.  Apparently he took time out of his day to let USA Today know what HE would do if HE were the Sexiest Man Alive, and not Matt Damon.  My fave? “I’d charge people $4 to look at my face, $2 for seniors.”

- Such a worthless, stupid mistake: Bionic Woman character uses iPhone upside down

- A-Rod realizes that no one else can afford him and comes crawling back…

So what do you think New Yorkers, would you like to have A-Rod back?
Sure, he’s a Yankee through and through
Hell no.

Back and Tired - Part 2

Wednesday, November 14th, 2007

- Ricky’s back. F.

- Who do you think the best QB of all time is?

- Top TV Icons according to EW: I like Johnny as number 1!

- If you’re around Monday night and have nothing to do, COME WITH ME!!!

Back and Tired - Part 1

Wednesday, November 14th, 2007

- NBC is allowing viewers to pick what the new hero (on Heroes) will be like.  To bad the writers strike will probably prevent the hero from ever coming to life

- Speaking of the strike, interested in how many new episodes of your show you can see before we hit reruns? TV Guide has all your info

- Great new song site where you can listen to a ton of songs VERY easily. A big “Enjoy!” from me to you

- And finally, a look at Sylar as Spock

Weekend Cometh - Part 2

Friday, November 9th, 2007

- More randomness at the new Star Trek movie: Winona to be Spock’s mom?!

- Apparently Hulk can’t do it alone. He needs a ladies touch.

- Who is Sophie Monk and why do I care that she’s naked? (NWA)

- What if 24 took place in 1994?

Two more things:

1) Check out RetiredOrangemen.com. It’s swap week, which means that columnists are playing merry-go-round

2) I’ll be out on Monday and Tuesday, but back late Wednesday. Talk amongst yourselves…
