Meant to alert you that I would be out on Friday and back today. So, um, here I am:

- There could be no one else to do this: Brokaw to fill in for Russert through the election (NBC FINALLY does something right)

- The whitest tennis matches in the world have begun. Just a month and a half to the US version

- Sorry ladies, THIS hit-making producer is taken

- And finally this morning, a shout out the late great George Carlin.  Some of you will recall this sketch that I quoted in the 2006 ROFF Draft Book…

Green Lovin’ – Part 1

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008

- Man oh man, what a year to be a New Englander! The Sox win their second in four years, the Celtics get number 17 after a brief 22 year layoff and the Pats… well, let’s not mention the Pats

- Because Farve skips a golf tournament, now some fool idiotically thinks he’s coming back

- The saga of the Lukin’s continues (seriously, you could write a book about these kids!). Keep up-to-date with the new LA-based blog

- Nintendo takes over the wall. What better to go with a Wii playroom?

Peace – Part 2

Tuesday, June 17th, 2008

- Chad injured? Good luck being trade bait now…

- See, it LOOKS like Pizza BUT it’s actually CAKE

- Remember when Michael was Michael. Sadly, not many people still do

- And finally today, a link from Brock: It’s hard to have a smile on your face when a tragedy like this happens, but this video will surely put one on yours. Could you imagine Tim Russert moderating one of our MANY debates over Draft Weekend??

Peace – Part 1

Tuesday, June 17th, 2008

- A little delayed, but a quick shout out to Tim Russert, who passed away this past weekend. It was amazing to watch MSNBC’s commercial free coverage. It was like watching a family mourn, with an MC and TV cameras. Very sad indeed.

- A peace deal before I head to the homeland? Thank you Israel!

- So long Willie: All of a sudden those Subway ads with Torre and Randolph seem so dated…

- Enough seriousness: Let’s get silly… That is TOTALLY what she said

Puppy Love – Part 2

Thursday, June 12th, 2008

- I hate to admit this, but I might actually tune-in for Celebrity Family Feud. Especially the Raven-Symone Family vs. Wayne Newton’s

- The dating show no one wants to see: Raymond’s Brad Garrett stars in a series of dating specials online

- The Simpson’s Movie makes the list but Aladdin is nowhere to be found?! OUTRAGEOUS!

- HULK SMASH! (the game)

Taking the long weekend starting tonight. Back on Tuesday. Enjoy the weekend!

Puppy Love – Part 1

Thursday, June 12th, 2008

- Note to the Marines: It’s bad enough that America’s reputation is shot. But seriously – Do we have to show the World that we hate puppies, too.  CUTE PUPPIES?!

- Clearly Milton Bradley is NOT a kids game

- Brit’s mom’s memoires are due to not-sell this fall

- What’s old is new (and fresh as strawberries!)
