Extra Slice – Video: A rare but hilarious way to remember Madden: A look at his top 5 commercials, including this one for McDonalds (using his trademark telestrator)

- ESPN joins NBC is backing a Matt Millen, a loser who clearly knows nothing (see the Lions for the past 8 years)

- Rumor has it that Jessica Simpson and Britney Spears might team up for a Laverne and Shirtly-esque TV show. Ok, but which one plays the dumb one?

- Sunny guys going direct to DVD? Yes, but why waste the money when FX is going to re-air it for free at a later date???

- Madden 10 is gearing up for it’s August 14th release: The trailer comes tomorrow, followed by the cover unveiling Wednesday and finally the Madden NFL 10 Draft Experience on Thursday where drafted players get their official Madden ratings

Let Me Out of this Office! – Part 1

Friday, April 17th, 2009

- Are NFL planners anti-semites? The New York Jets take stand for my people (probably because we’re most of the season ticket holders)

- Is Jimmy Buffett about to take partial ownership of my beloved Dolphins? I am 100% for this as long as he doesn’t change the mascot to a parrot

- Ok, who’s with me: Road trip to the top 10 party schools in the country? (shocker – they’re mostly in warm weather climates… and no, Syracuse did not make the list)

- A British website just posted a list of the top 100 Footballer’s (read: soccer) wives and girlfriends. How good is this list? Beck’s is the lowest ranked

- Madame Tussauds honors Snoop Doog with his own wax figure. And I have to say, he looks pretty badass

- For those of you who are Syracuse Alumni, this will come as no shock to you: Maggies has been shut down for selling alcohol to underage patrons

- A question for the group: Would you pay $7.99 for baby back ribs at Ikea and not be scared of what you’re truly eating? (thanks Emily for the link)

Extra Slice – Video: The Yanks opened the new Yankee Stadium today with a loss. Here’s an exclusive tour of the stadium courtesy of ESPN

- Someone please tell Hulk Hogan that no one should ever admit publicly to sympathizing with OJ. It’s just bad taste

Extra Slice – Video: Not sure why, but Star Wars\80’s Show Openings mash-ups are all the rage right now. First Dallas, now comes MacGuyver (thanks Scott for the link)

A Taxing Day – Part 2

- Is KC dumping the number one tight end in the last 10 years? And doing it just as they’re getting a QB who can use him properly??? That’s INSANE
